Instructions For Use - Neem Cake – 100% Organic Fertilizer

Fields

Quantity: Use 200 kg of neem cake per hectare (10,000 m2). Application: Evenly spread the neem cake on the soil before sowing or planting. Then thoroughly mix with the soil using a hoe or plow to ensure even distribution.

Orchard / Olive grove / Vineyard (hazelnut plantation)

Quantity: It is recommended to use 400 kg of neem cake per hectare or 300 g per tree. Application: Distribute the neem cake evenly around the root of each plant or throughout the entire orchard/vineyard. Lightly bury it in the soil and water to encourage nutrient absorption.

Flowers / Ornamental plants / Medicinal herbs

Quantity: For these types of plants, it is recommended to use 150 kg of neem cake per hectare. Application: Before sowing or planting, spread the neem cake on the soil in the flower bed or area intended for the cultivation of ornamental or medicinal herbs. Lightly mix it with the soil.

Garden

Quantity: For garden areas of 100 m2, use 4 kg of neem cake twice a year. In spring before planting and in autumn before frost. Application: Distribute the neem cake evenly over the garden area. Use a hoe or garden rake to lightly incorporate it into the soil. After applying neem cake as fertilizer, it is advisable to water the area to encourage the cake's breakdown and ensure the absorption of nutrients by the plants.

NEEM CAKE AND PESTS

Instructions for using neem cake against certain pests

Nematodes

Action: Neem cake disrupts the life cycle of nematodes, especially phytoparasitic nematodes that cause root damage.

Application: Before planting, mix neem cake into the soil to reduce the presence of nematodes in the root area. Neem cake can disrupt nematode movement and reduce their ability to infest plants.

Larvae

Action: Neem cake acts as a natural insecticide against the larvae of various plant-eating insects.

Application: Prepare a solution of neem cake and spray it on affected plants to target harmful insect larvae. Make sure to evenly cover the affected areas.

Ants

Action: Neem cake acts as a repellent against ants, disrupting their feeding and movement.

Application: Spread neem cake around anthills, entrances, and ant trails to deter them from areas you want to protect. Repeat the application as needed.

Moles

Action: Neem cake disrupts the feeding and development of moles, reducing their population. Application: Spread neem cake around areas sensitive to mole attack, such as vegetable or flower beds. You can also mix it into the soil around plants. Repeat the application as needed.

Several ways you can use neem cake to combat moles

Composting: Add neem cake to the compost pile to prevent the appearance and reproduction of moles. Neem cake will repel pests and reduce their presence in the compost.

Soil: Before planting plants, you can mix neem cake with the soils to reduce the number of moles in the soil. This can be especially useful if you've noticed that moles are problematic in your garden. Mulching: Create a layer of neem cake as mulch around plants. This will repel moles and reduce their access to plant roots.

Extract: You can make an extract from neem cake by mixing the cake with water and leaving it to soak for several hours. Then use this liquid to spray plants to repel moles. This extract can also have fungicidal properties, further helping to protect plants. It is important to note that neem cake will not immediately eliminate all moles but will act as a natural deterrent. Regular use can help reduce the mole population over time.

Termites

Action: Neem cake acts as a repellent against termites and disrupts their survival.

Application: If you notice signs of termite presence in wooden structures or soil, apply neem cake directly to the affected areas. You can also crumble neem cake and place it around the foundations of affected structures or where you notice termite activity.

Wireworms

Action: Neem cake acts as a natural insecticide and antifeedant, disrupting the survival and feeding of wireworms.

Instructions: Prepare the soil - it should be loose and moist. Sprinkle 100-200 grams of neem cake per square meter of soil. Sow the seeds or transplant plants, ensuring root contact with the treated soil. Water to activate the substances from the neem cake. Repeat the application as needed.

Cutworms

Action: Neem cake acts as a natural insecticide against cutworm caterpillars.

Instructions: Prepare the soil and remove weeds. Sprinkle 100-200 grams of neem cake per square meter of soil. Sow the seeds or transplant the plants. Water the soil well. Repeat the application after 30 days or as needed.
