Neem oil and tangerine
Neem oil can be used as a natural fungicide to control various diseases in tangerine orchards, including fungal infections such as brown rot, white rot, anthracnose, and powdery mildew. To use neem oil for disease control in your tangerine orchard, you can apply a solution of neem oil by spraying it onto the plants. It is recommended to use neem oil before the onset of diseases as a preventive measure or after the appearance of disease symptoms to prevent further spread.
For controlling fungal infections, applying a solution of neem oil in a concentration of 0.5-1% is recommended, depending on the severity of the infection. The solution can be applied multiple times during the season, with intervals of 7-14 days between applications. In general, neem oil is applied by spraying the plants with a solution containing neem oil and water or another oil carrier, at various dilutions depending on the type of pest and the level of infestation. To control insects such as aphids, spider mites, or caterpillars, a 0.5-1% neem oil solution can be used. For more severe infestations, a solution of 2-3% neem oil can be applied.
