Neem oil and Peaches
Neem oil can be used to control various diseases and pests in peach orchards, including:

For applying neem oil on peach orchards, it is recommended to spray a solution containing neem oil and water. Generally, it is advisable to use neem oil preventively, before diseases or pests appear, or in the early stages of infection. For this, a neem oil solution with a concentration of 0.5-1% can be used, with intervals between applications of 7-14 days. For more severe infections, a solution with a higher concentration can be used. Neem oil has a broad spectrum of action and can be used to manage various diseases and pests in peach orchards. Some of the diseases that can be managed with neem oil on peach orchards include:
- Peach Monilinia (brown rot) - neem oil can be used to manage this disease that causes fruit and branch rot in peaches.
- Peach powdery mildew - this disease causes deformations and leaf shedding in peaches, and neem oil can be used to control its causative agents.
- Peach leaf curl - this disease causes small brown spots on peach leaves and can lead to leaf drop. Neem oil can be used to manage the fungi causing this disease.
- Peach tree borer - neem oil can be used to control this pest that attacks peaches and causes yield losses. It's important to emphasize that neem oil is a natural product, but it should be used according to the manufacturer's instructions.
