Use Of Neem Oil – Onion

Onions can fight a variety of diseases and pests, including:

Pests:

2. Onion flea
3. Onion beetle
4. Onion mite
5. Onion aphid

To protect onions from various diseases and pests, you can use neem oil as follows:

1. Prepare a solution of neem oil: To prepare a solution, mix 2-3 tablespoons of neem oil in 1 liter of water.
2. Spray the solution on the onions: Apply the solution on the onion leaves, stem and also on the soil around the plant.
3. Repeat the process as needed: Neem oil solution can be used every 7-14 days depending on the level of infection and weather conditions.
